I love the Piano Recital stamp set! It's a 6 x 6 rubber background stamp - but you can break it apart into 3 segments or stamp them all together to create a full background! How awesome! I white heat embossed the whole background stamp onto a piece of watercolor cardstock and then used Bee Sting and Later Gator inks from Simon Hurley Create. to add watercolor to the background.
I absolutely LOVE the Caroling Squad stamp set! The characters are in Simon's signature style and they're just the cutest! I especially love the guy singing with his mouth open wide. I can just picture him screaming Christmas carols for everyone to hear! Haha! I stamped the tree and the little dude onto watercolor cardstock and used more Simon Hurley Create. inks to color them - Later Gator, Slippery When Wet, Grrr!, and Remember me. I cut them out and added foam tape to pop them onto my background.
I picked a fitting sentiment (haha!) and stamped it onto white cardstock then used scissors to trim a wonky banner shape and added it to my tree. Remember to head over and check out the rest of the new Simon Hurley Create. release! And if you'd like to check out how I made this card - here's my video!
Thanks so much for joining me!
This card is adorable!
