Pink & Main and Paper Sweeties Blog Hop
Hi, everyone! Welcome to the Paper Sweeties and Pink & Main blog hop! We are joining together to celebrate the 7th birthday for Paper Sweeties! How exciting, right?! I'll share my project here using a mix of Paper Sweeties and Pink & Main products and for even more inspiration be sure to visit the Paper Sweeties blog!
What's a birthday party without some surprise gifts?! Paper Sweeties is offering 25% off your order TODAY ONLY (Saturday, August 24th)! Hooray! And Pink & Main is giving away a surprise package of goodies worth over $25! To qualify to win this awesome prize all you have to do is comment on each blog in the hop by Wednesday August 28th! Let's see my card!
Pink & Main just released five new stamp sets filled with FABULOUS script and print sentiments! Oh how they have stolen my heart! I am always in need of thank you cards and mixing up the Grateful Greetings stamp set from Pink & Main and the Days Until stamps and dies from Paper Sweeties is just PERFECTION!
I stamped each of the borders from the Paper Sweeties Days Until stamp set twice with Versafine Onyx Black ink and used the coordinating Days Until Cuts to die cut each of the borders. I added them around an A2 sized card - creating a square in the middle - with some foam tape for dimension. I trimmed off the little bits of the borders that overlapped each other to create a cleaner design. I used the Pink & Main Grateful Greetings stamp set to stamp a sentiment in the middle of my frame using Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink.
I wanted the borders to have a bit of dimension, but you could mass produce this card even quicker if you just stamped the borders onto the card instead of die cutting them. Then you would have an easy and elegant one layer card in no time at all! Thanks for stopping by and joining in celebrating Paper Sweeties 7th birthday! Remember to head over to the Paper Sweeties blog for more inspiration! And don't forget to take advantage of the 25% off sale at Paper Sweeties and leave comments on each stop on the hop to win the $25 prize package from Pink & Main!
