Pickle Background Card Set

Hi, there! You know how much I love using stamps to create my own patterned paper, right?! I couldn't resist using all the pickles from the LDRS Creative Dill With It stamp set to create a card set. I mean ... Pickles are my favorite snack!

This card set is so clean and simple - and easy to make! Just my style! And I have so many pickle loving friends that I can give these cards to! And another bonus - I got to use some of my colored cardstock! Are you like me? ... Do you have hoards of this stuff?! Haha! Card sets like this are PERFECT for using your supplies! I used a full sheet of some green cardstock and cut it down to four A2 sized pieces. I originally thought I would do full sized cards, but I later decided to do square cards, so I cut off an inch and a quarter from the top to make 4.25 inch square cards. I used a stamping platform to create this set, but you could definitely use a regular acrylic block!

I placed my green cardstock into the stamping platform and arranged all of the pickles from the Dill With It stamp set and inked them up with some Evergreen Hybrid Ink. I just kept stamping until I had delicious and silly looking tone on tone pickles all over all four of my green cardstock pieces. I used one of my most used die sets - the Scalloped Rectangle Frame die set - to cut four white labels. I used my Evergreen Hybrid Ink again to stamp a sentiment to make sure that the sentiment would match my backgrounds. The only way to finish off these cards is with some glitter on every - single - pickle!! Haha!

I just can't get over these cute pickles! And the sentiment just makes me giggle! I have a video tutorial below to show you just how easy it is to create this set of cards! Enjoy!

Thanks for watching!
