Hi, all! Sometimes you just have to laugh at life ... and there's a card for that! The Happy Hour stamp set from the June Pink & Main release is my FAVORITE!
I just super duper love the Happy Hour stamp set! The drinks look so yummy!! I stamped two of my favorites and colored them with my alcohol markers and cut them out with the coordinating Happy Hour dies. I've been loving coloring white lately, so I kept the drinks with a clear soda base. After I finished coloring I realized that my lemon slices look more like oranges ... but oh well! They still look yummy!
The drinks made me think of drinking fruity drinks on the beach - and The Shore paper pad is FULL of beachy patterned papers! There are so many patterns it was card to pick favorites! I chose the light gray bokeh paper for my background and the blue woodgrain pattern for the foreground. And of course I needed to use the new Reverse Scallop Square dies! They're so perfect! I die cut the second largest square from white cardstock and popped it up with foam tape.
To finish off the card I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Hour stamp set and heat embossed it with white powder. I hope you enjoyed this card tutorial! See you next time!
