Sunny Sunny Sunshine Card with LDRS Creative

Hey, everyone! I have a fun sunshine card to share using products from the May release from LDRS Creative! The May release is full of spring themed stamps, papers, and stencils! I grabbed some of my favorites - the Puddle Jumper stamps and paper pad! Make sure you take a look!

I'm completely in LOVE with all of the beautiful patterned papers in the 6x6 Puddle Jumper Paper Pad! There are a bunch perfect for spring and summer and a bunch that are great for all occasion! Yellow is my "spirit color" haha! I originally was going to use a different pattern, but of course I fell back on yellow! I used the Barber Stripes Rectangle Die Set to die cut a piece of white cardstock and layered it over the pretty yellow patterned paper.

I needed the perfect stamps to go with my background and the Puddle Jumper stamp set fit the bill! I used Raven Hybrid Ink to stamp out the rainbow and sunshine sentiment. I love this ink because it stamps nice and crisp and dark! And it's perfect for a variety of coloring mediums! I decided to use alcohol markers to color in my rainbow. While I was stamping I used the LDRS Creative Watermark Emboss ink pad and White Embossing Powder to stamp a small coordinating sentiment.

Once everything was colored I used my scissors to cut out the rainbow and large sunshine sentiment. Everything is better with dimension, so I used foam tape to pop up the rainbow and sentiments. I hope you love this happy card! I have a video for you as well!
