So, cute right?! Let's start with the background! I created it using dies from the Summer Wreath Decor die set. Pink & Main released the Wreath Base die set last year and has now released coordinating die sets for each season! I LOVE the little icon dies in the Summer Wreath Decor die set and decided to use them to make a background! I used some of my favorite icons - the sunglasses, sun, and the star and die cut them from sticky back fun foam. Once they were die cut I just removed the backer from my fun foam and and put them onto an acrylic block. I inked them up with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink and stamped them all over my background!
What goes better with a nice minty color than yellow?! I die cut the largest of the rectangles from the Reverse Scallop Rectangle dies and inked up the frame with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink. I added it to my stamped background with foam tape.
I stamped out the girl and dog images from the Travel Buddy stamp set and colored them in with my alcohol markers and used the coordinating Travel Buddy dies to cut them out. I stamped the sentiment with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink and trimmed it to a banner and added all of my pieces to the front of my card. And that completes my project for today!
