Erin Lee Creative Stenciled Backgrounds

Hey, everyone! Today I have four cards to share with you using products from Erin Lee Creative! I was feeling inky and so I grabbed a bunch of my Distress Inks and the Tiny Squares stencil and got to work!

I wanted to have some extra dimension to my backgrounds, so for each one that I did I used two different colors of inks from the same color family.

I used the Tiny Squares stencil for each of my backgrounds. The pink one features some Spun Sugar and Abandoned Coral. I randomly added ink to different areas of the stencil, but I did keep the darker color towards the edge.  My blue/green background got a bit muddled because I didn't properly clean my blending brush - but creating new colors can sometimes be a good thing! I actually used Cracked Pistachio and Faded Jeans, but I think I had a bit of gray left over on my brush.

I love the look of dipped die cuts, so I cut out the hello from the Big Hello Love die set from white and black cardstock. I pressed my Versamark ink pad onto the bottom half of the die cut and used some pearl embossing powder for the black die cut and gold for the white!

While I had my Tiny Squares stencil out I decided to make a few more backgrounds! I used a mixture of Peacock Feathers and Fossilized Amber and for the second I used Fossilized Amber, Peeled Paint, and Iced Spruce!

I LOVE the font of the sentiments in the Dearly Dear stamp set! And I love when I can use sentiments form a stamp set on their own! I stamped with Versafine Onyx black ink and heat embossed with clear powder to add some shine.

I hope this simple card set encourages you to grab your stencils, dies, and stamps and get creative! See you soon!
