It's All Rainbows and Sunshine

Today is release day at Pink & Main! The May 2019 release is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! I'm sharing one of my favorite cards that I made using the new release products today! It just makes me so happy to look at it!

I started by using a rainbow of Distress Inks to blend the happiest background I've ever seen! Haha! Then for a bit of texture I flicked on some water and soaked up the excess with a towel.

I love the little sunshine image in the Bright Side stamp set! And there are a few different faces that you can stamp in the middle of the sun to give them different personalities! I decided to use a piece of patterned paper from the Back to Basics paper pad and I chose the pale yellow with subtle yellow dots. I stamped the sunshine and faces on the piece of patterned paper repeatedly and used the matching die to cut out all of my little sunshine images. Once I had all the images cut out I added them all over my inked background with foam tape for dimension. For some contrast I decided to white heat emboss a sentiment from the Bright Side stamp set onto a piece of black cardstock and added it to the right side of my card.

I love all the different areas of texture on this card! The spots in the background and the dots on the patterned paper! I added some clear glitter to the sentiment strip and to each of the die cut sunshine images! I hope you'll head over to the Pink & Main store and check out the Bright Side stamp set and the rest of the May 2019 release!
