Rainbow Ink Blended Die Cut Background

Hello! I'm still obsessed with rainbows - so of course I had to make another rainbow Easter card using the Easter Bounty stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs

I started by creating my background - I used a large background die from a past Hero Arts card kit and die cut it from some Watercolor cardstock. I removed all of the little sun ray pieces and put the pieces directly across from each other into 9 separate piles. Then I started inking! I started with the pink and went in rainbow order using my Distress Inks - Picked Raspberry, Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Fossilized Amber, Cracked Pistachio, Lucky Clover, Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch, and ending with Wilted Violet.

I completely covered the front of my card base with double sided adhesive and added the white die cut frame piece onto my card and then popped in the ink blended pieces. I stamped out the bunny and carrot images from the Easter Bounty stamp set and colored them with watercolor markers. I added my stamped sentiment onto the middle piece of the die cut background and popped up my colored images with foam tape.

This card makes my heart so happy! And I hope it inspires you to create a rainbow Easter card, too!
