Hi, everyone! Welcome to the March release hop for Erin Lee Creative! I am so honored to be on Erin's creative team and to give you some inspiration for her new release! To celebrate we are giving away three $25 gift certificates to three lucky winners chosen from comments left across all of the blogs participating in this hop. Please leave a comment on any participating blog by Friday, March 29, 2018. Three winners will be announced the following week on the Erin Lee Creative Blog. The more you comment, the more chances to win!

But wait! There's more! Haha! There's a sale! You can get 40% off all products (excluding new release items) at the Erin Lee Creative shop! No code needed!

I am absolutely OBSESSED with the new Indian Background Stamp from the March release at Erin Lee Creative! I immediately thought of gold embossing and I knew I wanted to pair it with some older coordinating products!

I started with a piece of A2 sized cardstock and stamped the Indian Background Stamp with Versamark ink and embossed it with Ranger Gold embossing powder. I used my Gansai Tambi watercolors straight from the pans and added a wash of color over the background. I wanted bold colors, so I let the background dry and repeated the process twice more to get deeper color. The Incredible India stamp set pairs PERFECTLY with the background stamp - and I just love elephants! I stamped the elephant and colored it with my watercolors and used the coordinating die to cut out the image and glue it to the right side of my card. I die cut the You Are Incredible word die from white cardstock so that it would really pop!

I like to make multiple cards at once - especially with watercolored backgrounds! While one is drying I'm painting another! I used the same process for this second card - heat embossed the Indian Background Stamp and added some green watercolor over the top. I started with a flat wash of color, but added a few different shades of green to build up color and create depth. I stamped and watercolored the elephant from the Incredible India stamp set and die cut it with the coordinating die set. Instead of die cutting a sentiment I decided to stamp the sentiment from the Incredible India stamp set and create a banner.

I hope you love these cards! A lot of the new products from the March release are made to fit like a glove with existing products! Remember to hop along and get more inspiration from the other blogs! Erin is giving away three $25 gift cards!
