Hello, everyone! I'm here to share the awesome technique of stamping with dies! It's an awesome way to stretch your dies and use the supplies you have!
I will be using the small floral dies that are included in the Inside Scalloped Circle dies. In order to stamp with them, I die cut the small flowers and leaves from craft foam. I thought I would use the larger of the flowers, but I ended up only using the small one.
I find it's easiest to stamp with craft foam with pigment inks, but you certainly could do it with dye inks. I decided to use two new Distress Oxide colors for the flowers - Tattered Rose and Shaded Lilac. For the flower centers I used Peacock Feathers and Peeled Paint for the leaves.
I wanted to stamp a circular wreath, so I traced the outside of the medium circle to give myself a guideline.
I added a bit of tape runner adhesive to my acrylic block and stuck down my craft foam "stamps" then inked them up and stamped like they were normal clear stamps following the circle guide I had traced.
I love the cute center for the flowers!
I die cut the Happy Die and left it in the paper so that I could add some color with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink.
I added some Nuvo drops to the center of the flowers and to fill in empty holes in the wreath in Sweet Lilac, Bubblegum Blush, and Caribbean Ocean, attached my die cut sentiment, and stamped the "Easter" from the Happy Sentiments stamp set!
Thanks for joining me!
