Hi! Today I'm sharing 3 cards that I made using the October card kit from Simon! This kit had patterned papers with navy, pink, and rose gold foiling! I love that color combo!
For my first card I trimmed down a piece of patterned paper to cover my whole card base. Then I fussy cut some flowers and vines from another piece of the patterned paper and arranged them on the front of my card. I added a heat embossed sentiment with the navy embossing powder that was included in the kit.
This card was so hard to photograph. All of the foiling kept reflecting and gave my card a yellow tinge. But I wanted to share it with you because it's so pretty in real life! I fussy cut the rest of the leaves and flowers from one of the patterned papers and arranged them on top of a polka dotted patterned paper. I didn't even add a sentiment because I didn't want to cover up any of the flowery goodness!
I'm really trying to create more birthday cards because I never seem to have on on hand when I need one! I combined a few different patterned papers to create my background and stamped a backdrop for my sentiment using one of the brush stroke images from the stamp set. I fussy cut around my stamped image and popped it up and added some Nuvo drops!
