Christmas Cheer Watercolor

Hello, my friends! I have some Christmas inspiration featuring Concord & 9th products today! Actually, I'm going to have a lot of inspiration coming up from October's release! I'm in love with these stamps and dies!

I started by stamping the images from the Christmas Cheer Turnabout stamp all four times in Versafine Onyx Black ink onto watercolor paper. I covered it with clear embossing powder because I was too impatient for the ink to dry! :) Then I used my Koi watercolors to color in the images!

For my first background I decided to color in each image. I chose one color for each image - except for the present. The present is on the original background stamp twice, so there were twice as many, so I split up the colors a bit! I wanted to do bright, happy, rainbow colors! I will be honest - I've totally jumped on the rainbow bandwagon! I used to hate rainbows because I thought it was too much color - but now I love them! I pretty much used colors right from the cakes for this card.

For my second card I decided to only do pops of color. I mixed most of my colors for this panel because I wanted softer colors. I'm not sure which one I like better!

For each background I spattered on some black watercolor because that's just what I do! I used the Ribbon Banner Die to die cut two black and two white pieces of cardstock. I stamped the sentiment on the white and used the black as a drop shadow. I used foam tape behind the banners and these cards are done!

Thanks for joining me!
