Simon Says Stamp Sparkle and Shine Challenge

Hey, everyone! I am loving the July card kit from Simon Says Stamp. It has a nautical theme and it is so perfect for happy, summer, ocean themed cards! Today I am entering my card into the Wednesday Simon Says Stamp challenge - Sparkle and Shine. The sparkle may be difficult to see in the first photo, but scroll down to the second one! I started by die cutting a piece of cream cardstock with the largest stitched rectangle from Simon and the second largest rectangle from navy blue cardstock. I stamped the border image repeatedly on the bottom of the navy piece with Versamark and then embossed it with white embossing powder.

Next, I stamped a bunch of the images from the stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics and Spectrum Noir markers. I also stamped the "thanks" sentiment onto a piece of scrap white cardstock and trimmed the end to make a banner.

I arranged all of my images and adhered them to my panel. I popped up the front wave to add some dimension. I added some fun foam behind my navy panel and adhered all of the panels onto a top folding card base.

Next I added a ridiculous amount of clear Wink of Stella. Seriously. Probably about 5 or 6 coats of glitter. It's so shimmery in real life! I hope this photo gives you a little glimpse of all of the glitter that I added!!
