Tis the Season Sketch Challenge (TTS46)

Hello! I can't believe it's been two weeks since my last post! My husband and I have taken on some home projects and it's taken longer than expected. I hope to be back in my craft room soon!

I am excited to be back with another Tis the Season challenge! I've had so much fun playing along and designing for the challenges. This week is a sketch challenge! Click here to go to the blog and join the fun!

There's the sketch! I like when they are simple like this! Ready for my card?

I tried to keep my design simple and clean...just like the sketch. I started by blending some Distress Inks onto a piece of Neenah cardstock. I used Fired Brick and Evergreen Bough. 

Next I moved onto my image. I used the Mama Elephant Believe in the Magic stamp set. I stamped my base and globe in black ink and the tree in Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink. I thought it needed something else, so I added some snowflakes with Memento London Fog ink. 

I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set onto some white paper and used it to cover up where the two Distress Inks overlapped. I added some twine and popped my snow globe up with foam squares. I added the whole piece to a top folding card and added some clear sequins.
