Cindy Loo Happiness Card

Good morning!

I was up early this morning and saw that Fantabulous Cricut had a new Monday challenge! The challenge is to use a cartridge or cut from a cartridge that you've never used before.

I bought the Cindy Loo cartridge about a month ago, and I've only used it once and I wanted to use it again, so I created this circle card using the bird doily cut. I am a card creator, and I never thought I'd use the circle doily. I just couldn't envision it on a card, but I thought I'd challenge myself. So, I whipped out my Gypsy and started designing. The card came together super quick once I got everything sized correctly. Here is my finished project:

I cut my doily from the Cindy Loo cartridge at 4 inches and glued it on to a 4 inch craft colored circle card base. Since this cut doesn't have a layer feature, I used my Gypsy to size the bird to match the one on the doily and then cut the proper layers.

All of my cuts came from the 6x6 FancyPantsDesigns Parkbench paper pad. I inked all of my edges with Creamy Brown ColorBox chalking ink. I stamped my stamp with Prussian Blue ColorBox ink. My sentiment says "You have to believe in happiness or happiness never comes." Unfortunately, I bought the stamps so long ago and I don't remember who the producer of the stamp is. I decorated the sentiment with a few mini pearls from Recollections and a thin white ribbon knot (also from Recollections).

I think that's it! Happy Monday!!
