Trinity Stamps | Thanksgiving Harvest Rainbow Slimline Card

It's finally beginning to feel like fall where I live! The air is crisp and leaves are starting to fall - and I couldn't be happier! It makes me want to use all of the gorgeous Trinity Stamps Autumn goodies!

This card was so simple to make and with a few tweaks it could be easily mass produced for all of your Thanksgiving cards!

I mixed together the Harvest Rainbow Stamp Set and the Autumn Impressions Stamp Set and I love the result! I paired them with the Dainty Scallop Edge Slimline Die Set for the perfect detailed edging!

ThermOWeb | YouTube Live with Lynnea - Heat Embossing on Deco Foil

I'm going live today on the ThermOWeb YouTube Channel with a fun heat embossing on Deco Foil technique! I'll see you at 12pm CT / 1pm ET!

Foiling is such an easy way to make some WOW projects! I'm always looking for fun ways to add shine and I'm going to share an easy heat embossing on Deco Foil trick!

I mixed together traditional and non traditional colors for these cards. I foiled Toner Card Fronts for colorful backgrounds and then transferred a bunch of colors of Deco Foil to cardstock with Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets and then stamped and heat embossed Christmas tree images for the focal points. Be sure to join me live for tips and tricks!

These cards are SO shiny from the backgrounds to the foregrounds!

I'll hope to see you live on the ThermOWeb YouTube channel TODAY at 12pm CT / 1pm ET!

Miss Ink Stamps | Spooky Mini Scene

I'm not great at making scene cards, so I stick to simpler mini scenes! I made this spooky Halloween mini scene with new stamps from Miss Ink Stamps!

I used a double masking and stenciling technique to create my background. It's so easy! I first placed the Latte Love Stencil down and then the In & Outs: Marquis Stencil over the top and blended on Carved Pumpkin, Scattered Straw, and Black Soot Oxide Inks. I used the frame from the In & Outs: Marquis Stencil to add a Black Glitz Glitter Gel frame to my background.

I stamped the house and some critters from the Welcome Home Stamp Set and colored them with Copic Markers and fussy cut them leaving a slight white border.

I stamped the large "spooky" and a coordinating sentiment strip from the Halloween Sentiments Stamp Set and added them near the bottom of my card. I added all my critters with foam tape and covered them with shimmer. That's it! Thanks for joining me!

Pink & Main | Warmest Wishes Penguin Mug

Cute and cuddly and warm wishes - that's what I want for Christmas! This little penguin mug from Pink & Main is absolutely adorable!

I have been drawn towards traditional color schemes for my Holiday cards this year, but this is such a simple card design that you could switch up the color scheme or image and have a non traditional Holiday card! I am obsessed with the Mugs and Kisses Stamp Set! It's my favorite stamp from this release and probably from the whole year! I started the card by stamping the candy cane from the Mugs and Kisses Stamp Set repeatedly on a piece of white cardstock. I colored in the candy canes with red and white Copic Markers and then outlined each of them with a light blue/green marker to give them a cool shadowy glow.

I stamped the adorable little penguin and some whipped topping from the Mugs and Kisses Stamp Set and colored them then cut them out with the coordinating Mugs and Kisses Die Set. When I placed the penguin mug onto the candy cane background I realized that he was blending into the background too much, so I wanted something subtle behind the mug. I die cut three of the largest die from the Stacked Snowflakes Die Set and adhered the centers together. This added a subtle backer to the mug and some extra texture.

I kept with the red monochromatic color scheme and stamped a sentiment from the Mugs and Kisses Stamp Set with red ink and added it below my image. Thanks so much for joining me!

InkOn3 | Atelier Ink Set of Teacher Cards

My son started kindergarten a few weeks ago and I decided to spoil his teacher with a set of cards stamped with InkOn3 Atelier Inks

Teachers work so hard and I wanted to show my son's teacher how much I appreciate her! I thought a long time about what style of card to make, but when I saw these apples I knew they were perfect!

I made one card to give to her and then a set of five cards to give as a gift. I used the Taylored Expressions I Pick You Cling & Clear Combo for all of the cards. This was the perfect set because it gave me an excuse to bust out my Atelier Inks and do some solid stamping!

I started by stamping the background - the apple outlines - with Blackout Hybrid Detail Ink and then used the coordinating stamp set to fill in the centers of the apples. I love that there are so many different styles of apple "fillings"! I used Marilyn Red, Marigold Orange, Bee Sting Yellow, and Goddess Green Atelier Inks to create my apples.

Once all of my apples were stamped I used the I Pick You Stencil to add more detail to the backgrounds. This stencil perfectly masks off the apples in the background and creates some fun horizontal stripes. I used Peacock Blue, Paint It Black, and Twiggy Brown Atelier Inks to add ink blending to the backgrounds.

Even thought all the backgrounds are different I decided to keep things consistent by using the same sentiment on each card. I die cut using the My Favorite Things Sweet Hello Die Set and popped the sentiments up onto my card. I stamped a coordinating sentiment from the I Pick You Stamp Set with Blackout Hybrid Detail Ink to complete the look.

I hope this project inspires you! Thanks so much for watching!

LDRS Creative September Features Day 2 | Trick or Treat Circular Pirouette Card

This background reminds me of those zentangle toys I used to play with as a kid! I made it using the AMAZING Pirouette Templates from LDRS Creative!

I used a stamp that's intended to be cut out and used as a focal point piece for my background. And I varied the colors of Hybrid Inks that I used to make it even more interesting! I filled in the card with jack-o-lanterns, ghosts, and spiders from the Trick or Treat Pirouette Stamp Set

I stamped and die cut a spider web and sentiment to sit in the center of my card and popped them up with foam tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

LDRS Creative September Features Day 1 | Cute and Spooky Halloween Scene

Things are spooky on the LDRS Creative blog today as we kick off the September features! I made a shaped slimline card with a mini scene!

I mixed together two Halloween stamp sets on my card - one from this year and one from last year - Trick or Treat and Spook Ya Later. They go perfectly together!

I used the Elegant Stitched Frames Slim Line Die Set to create a card and used papers from the Trick or Treat 4x9 Patterned Paper Pack

Come back tomorrow for another video and more LDRS Creative Halloween inspiration!

LDRS Creative | Peace & Joy Pirouette Background

I love to create my own background papers and the LDRS Creative Pirouette Pattern Templates helps make perfect backgrounds!

Creating my own backgrounds is probably my favorite part of card making. Whether it's stamping, watercoloring, ink blending, etc - I just love it! I have been using the Pirouette Pattern Templates so often because they're great for building backgrounds. I've created video tutorials showing the circular patterns, so this time I thought I would use the bonus template and create a full background pattern!

I used greenery stamps from the Peace & Joy Pirouette Stamp Set and four colors of green ink - Olive Branch, Four Leaf, Evergreen, and Pistachios-a-Plenty. In my video above I show you just how to create this background - it really is simple! I filled in the little squares in each quadrant, stamped and turned four times, and then repeated the process with a new color of ink and new stamps for each quadrant.

The new Layered Poinsettia Die Set is simply gorgeous! I die cut the layered flower pieces from red cardstock, the leaves from three colors of green cardstock, and the centers from brown cardstock. The die-cuts are easy to align, but if you need a bit of help I always find it helpful to look at the back of the packaging.

I die cut my background panels using dies from the A2 Stitched Layered Card Toppers Die Set and added them to a card base. I created a sentiment strip by stamping a sentiment from the Potted Poinsettia Stamp Set with Olive Branch Ink and finished the card by scattering some pearls around the card. That's it! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial!

Pink & Main | 5 Cards 1 Kit Homespun Christmas Kit

The September release from Pink & Main is here and it includes the FABULOUS Homespun Christmas Kit! I made a 5 cards 1 kit video to show off the amazingness of this kit!

I'm in love with the Homespun Christmas Kit! Perfect for both traditional and non traditional Holiday projects. This kit is not part of the regular Crafty Courtyard subscription and WILL need to be purchased separately. Grab it up quick! There are limited quantities and it's a fabulous kit! There is so much packed into this kit - a large 6x8 stamp set WITH coordinating dies, a full patterned paper pack as well as a pack of foiled cardstock, a stencil, and MORE!

I went classic and simple with my first card. I used the Pink & Main Stitched Rectangles 1 Die Set to cut out various patterned papers from the Homespun Christmas Kit and stacked them together. I added a bit of baker's twine from my stash for a small detailed accent and added the mason jar of poinsettias in the center of my card. This image is gorgeous! You can color the poinsettias traditionally as I have or color them with teals for a non traditional look.

I can't create with a card kit without creating a shaker card! I decided to mix traditional and non traditional colors on my card. I used the Reverse Scalloped Rectangle Dies to cut out a frame from a piece of patterned paper and used acetate and foam tape to create a shaker well. I filled it with sequins from the kit and backed it with a cream colored paper. I colored the bells and stamped a sentiment and added them to the center of the shaker.

My third project is a tag - I thought it would be cute to have something a bit different! I used the stencil included in the Homespun Christmas Kit and stenciled some light brown ink onto white cardstock and used the Fancy Tag Die Set to cut my tag shapes. I accented with some of the gold foil cardstock in the kit and added a sentiment strip and the candy cane image.

I liked the stencil so much that I decided to use it again and stretch it across a slimline card! I ink blended with a light blue ink and then shifted the stencil to the right and blended ink over the rest of the panel. I used the frame die from the Blessings Slimline Die Set to create a nice scalloped edge and added the lantern and a sentiment.

I went with non traditional colors for my last card - lime green and pink! And I colored the stocking with some aqua markers, too! I used the Concave Rectangles Die Set and hung the die-cut piece off the edge of the card for some interest. The patterned papers in the Homespun Christmas Kit are stunning!

I am over the moon in love with the Homespun Christmas Kit! Remember that it's a limited edition kit and not part of the regular Crafty Courtyard subscription, so hurry over to the Pink & Main Store and grab yours!

Miss Ink Stamps | Bugs and Kisses Sneak Peek

Let's sneak a peek at the new Bugs & Kisses Stamp Set from Miss Ink Stamps! Creepy crawlies are my thing and mixing them with lovely foiling makes it even better!

I stamped the beetles from the Bugs and Kisses Stamp Set onto a piece of white cardstock and used a stitched die to cut out the panel and colored them with Copic Markers.

I love beetles and think they are truly gorgeous. I wanted to create a shiny background to mimic their shiny coverings, so I added Deco Foil Transfer Gel Blanco over the Wonky Checker Stencil and let it dry. Once it was dry I used my laminator to transfer Brutus Monroe Rainglow Foil over the stencil. I LOVE the effect!

I stamped a sentiment from the Bugs and Kisses Stamp Set and created a drop shadow with a piece of black cardstock. I used foam to mount all of my pieces onto my background.

I hope you've enjoyed this quick peek at the new Bugs and Kisses Stamp Set! Visit the Miss Ink Stamps store tomorrow for the full release!

A Pocket Full of Happiness Appreciation Instagram Hop

Myself and a bunch of other creators are hopping on Instagram and showing our appreciation for an AMAZING company - A Pocket Full of Happiness! I created two quick cards and I have a tutorial on YouTube!

I am in love with how bright these cards turned out! I used the Tie-Dye Stamp Set and created two cards - one simple and one a bit more stepped up.

I used a few colors of Hybrid Inks and the Tie-Dye Stamp Set right in the center of my card and added some black ink spatters for texture. I stamped some tiny hearts and a sentiment from the Mosaic Circle Builder Stamp Set to finish off the card.

I used the Tie-Dye Stamp Set to build a full background on my second card and added some ink spatters. This took a bit more time, but SERIOUSLY! I LOVE the background! It's bright and happy and perfect! I have had the When Life Gives You Lemons Stamp Set in my stash for a little bit now and never inked it up (SHOCKING! I know!) - so I knew I needed some happy lemons for this card. I stamped a few lemons in two different colors and placed them in the center of my card. I added a sentiment from the Mosaic Circle Builder Stamp Set and some pearls to finish the card.

I hope you enjoyed these cards and video tutorial! Don't forget that we are hopping over on Instagram! You'll see lots of inspiration there!
