Muse Card Club Polka Dots Cards

Hey everyone! I'm super excited to be entering my first cards into the Muse Card Club challenge blog. It's their 200th challenge...but a first for me!

Here's the card I've made:

Our inspiration image had polka dots and flowers. I loved the floral idea, but I wanted my black polka dots to be more subtle. I'm not one for big bold patterns lately, so I made this beauty using an Altenew stamp set, some dye inks, and a Hero Arts die!

Remember to head over to the Muse Card Club to check out their challenges!

I'm excited to try some more challenges! It's something I've always wanted to do...but I never had time! Now that the baby is napping on a regular basis I'm hoping to try my hand at more! Do you have any good suggestions?

Watercolored Embossed Backgrounds

Hello! I have a few more super simple thank you cards to share with you! I'm making thank you cards to give to all of my family and friends and I want each one to be different and unique, but I need so many that they need to be quick and simple! Here's a few ideas!

I used some of my favorite Distress Inks mixed with Perfect Pearls to lay down some watercolor and then ran the pieces through a couple of my new We R Memory Keepers embossing folders from the Gemstone and the Geometric sets.

I love the shimmer, shine, and texture that these cards have! I popped a "thanks" die cut from Simon Says Stamp on the front and that's it!

See you later!

Inky Owls

Hey there! I have 2 cards to share with you using some goodies I got for Christmas! I'm so grateful to have received some gift cards so I could get exactly what I've been craving! Here we go!

The Wise Owl stamp set from Jane's Doodles isn't a new stamp set, but I've been needing it for a while now...and I finally got it! I love the feathers in the set, so I will have another card up soon using the feathers! I embossed both owls with white powder and used a sponge and some Distress Ink to add color. Of course these guys needed some googly eyes!

I'm also new to the We R Memory Keepers Next Level embossing folders, but once I tried them I had to have more! I used the Woven set and the Gemstone set to add some interest to my backgrounds. I left one plain white, and the other I used Distress Inks and some Perfect Pearls water for some interest on the other.

I used a die cut "thanks" on each of them and that's it! Hope you like them!
