Sassy & Crafty - Sassy Girls Free & Brave

The Fourth of July may have come and gone, but that doesn't mean you can't use the Sassy Girls Free & Brave Stamp Set for other occasions! I bet we all know a woman who needs a bit of encouragement!

I created by background with the Comic Book Stencil Set. I placed the outline stencil over my card base and masked off the individual rectangles and used a variety of Distress Oxide Inks to blend a rainbow of color on the card base. The Comic Book Stencil Set has a layering stencil where you can add fun patterns over the rectangles. I left the background plain, but blended teal ink onto a separate piece of cardstock and used the layering piece of the Comic Book Stencil Set to add White Glitz Glitter Gel over the spiral layer with a Stencil Pal. Pixie Spray is a lifesaver for making sure that the stencil doesn't move while I added the Glitz Glitter Gel.

I stamped the girl from the Sassy Girls - Free & Brave Stamp Set and colored her with Copic Markers and trimmed out the image with scissors. I stamped the phrase "you are my hero" and cut apart the sentiment into three different strips and trimmed them to ribbon ends.

I added my stenciled panel to the card base and popped up my image and sentiments with foam tape to finish off the card. I hope you enjoyed this different way to use a themed stamp set! See you soon!
