Liquid Watercolor with Altenew Rennie Roses + Save the Crafty YouTuber Video Hop

Hi, everyone!! I can't even start to tell you how excited I am that I am part of the Save the Crafty YouTuber Video Hop! Ahh! The Save the Crafty YouTuber Video Hop was created by the amazing Justine Hovey as a way to celebrate cardmakers and their videos. The purpose of this hop is for you to find some amazing inspiration (and maybe some new cardmakers) and for us to reach our monetization goals!

There are a bunch of us who have created videos just for this hop and there are TONS of AMAZING prizes! Want to win some? Of course you do! Haha! All you have to do is like the videos in the hop, leave a comment (the more you comment the more chances you'll have to win), and consider subscribing to my channel! (Please indicate if you are located in the USA or International when commenting so that prizes can be awarded appropriately as some prizes (not all!) have restrictions on them) Easy peasy, right!? You have until June 5th to leave comments and winners will be announced on June 10th on Justine Hovey's blog and YouTube channel. After you've watched my video you can head over to the amazing INSERT NAME HERE video to continue on in the hop! Now let's jump into my card!

I recently purchased the Rennie Roses stamp set from Altenew and the Thanks a Bunch stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps and I've been DYING to use them together! I started by stamping my sentiment from the Thanks a Bunch stamp set using Versafine Onyx Black ink and my Mini MISTI. I covered the sentiment with clear embossing powder and heat set it until it was melted. I put the cardstock back into my Mini MISTI and stamped the flowers and leaves from the Rennie Roses stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I coated the flowers and leaves with white satin pearl embossing powder. I LOVE how this powder turns the black ink into a gorgeous silver color!

I decided to watercolor my images and used my Hero Arts Liquid Watercolors. Check out my video below if you want to see exactly how I colored them! I used a basic technique of wetting the area with clean water first and then dropping in color. I used a rainbow of liquid watercolors - Strawberry, Orange, Dandelion, Leaf, Deep Ocean, and Purple.

I finished off my card by using some Ebony Black Nuvo Crystal Drops. I have a trick for using this product that I recently learned! Watch my video below to see how to get perfect Nuvo drops every time!

I hope you all loved this video! Remember to like and comment on the videos in the hop by June 5th for your chance to win prizes! And head over to INSERT NAME HERE's video for your next stop in the video hop! I'll see you next time!
